KAEL: The Stormchaser

A 2D endless platformer built entirely using AI tools — from code to art to animations.

Kael is a side-scrolling platformer where you run across three distinct worlds — a windy green landscape, frozen icy peaks, and crumbling storm ruins — collecting shards, stomping enemies, and surviving long enough to fight the boss.

I've been exploring how far AI can go in game development and this is my attempt at pushing those limits. Here's what was built using AI:

🎨 All character sprites and animations — generated using ChatGPT

🌍 All three world backgrounds with parallax scrolling — ChatGPT

👾 6 unique enemy types each with their own behaviour

⚡ A 3-form boss fight that gets harder every encounter

💻 Core game systems — chunk generation, enemy AI, power-ups — built with Claude

📱 Designed and built for Android

This isn't a perfect game. It's an experiment — and honestly a pretty fun one. Still a lot to polish but I wanted to put it out there and see what people think.
